| In recent years, The Mystical Arts of Tibet, featuring the famed multiphonic singers of Drepung Loseling monastery, have taken the world by storm. Robed in magnificent costumes and playing traditional Tibetan instruments — from 10-foot long dung-chen horns to gyaling trumpets — the Loseling monks
perform ancient temple music and dances that are believed to generate energies conducive to world healing. The group is endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as a means of promoting world peace through sacred performing art. They have performed in many of America’s greatest theaters and music halls

 Showcase 2012 is the annual culmination of the 58th year of the dance and theatre programs produced by the Carmel Academy of Performing Arts. Dancers, vocalists and actors create the talented back drop for three days of incredible entertainment! The pre professional dancers will amaze you with variety, elaborate choreography and exquisite intricacies of music to mood. The three year old will simply steal your heart! There is truly something for everyone? enjoyment in this three day extravaganza of costumes, lights and over 400 young people on stage.
